The Private Group Campsite is 100% Paid For by our Sponsors, so all you need to bring is Yourself, Friends/Family, Camping Supplies and Items to Trade at Barter Town!
****This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT**** However, while we love our 4-Legged Fur babies as well, we ask that you please leave any Aggressive, Non-Socialized, Talkative (Barky), Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Dragons, Elephants or other pets at home! This is a privately hosted, publicly advertised event and the hosts reserve the right to ask anyone to leave, for any reason.
Items of interest: *Saturday Night Potluck Dinner (See Potluck Discussion Thread for coordinated meals) * Saturday Night Barter Time (A Post SHTF Exercise, NO Cash, Bartering Only Event that's always fun for the whole Family!) ** - henceforth known as Mooretown in honor of our friend Jerry Moore. * Several FREE Classes on Multiple Topics (Schedule Posted Below)* Hiking, Fishing or Kayak/Canoe right down the hill from the Campsite * Get to know Like Minded Friends in your North, South, East and West areas of operation!
Tuesday-Thursday Activities: Free Camping - First Come, First Serve, Be Respectful of and Curtious to your Fellow Campers. - Camping Space is Limited at this Camp Site. Come on out and setup your campsite! The campground is primitive with a vault toilet and port-a-jons only. There is a working shower house with hot water down the road from the campsite.
Meet, mingle, fellowship with and get to know hundreds of new like-minded friends from all walks of life, backgrounds and parts of the Country (and Canada eh)!
Class Schedule is as Follows:
Tuesday September 3rd - Opening day, camp setup, hiking, swimming, lounging day. Enjoy nature, it's neat!
Wednesday September 4th - Camping available and Free Time - Let’s hang out and camp!
Thursday September 5th -
1:00PM - Childrens Event: Complex Problem Solving - Jeopardy Style!
3:00PM - Hometown Homesteaders! - Local homesteaders, share the stage to talk about lessons learned and share that knowledge with you!
Friday September 6th -
9:00AM - Childrens Event: Whittling 101
10:00AM - Callie Blackwell: Empowering you with God's gifts!
1:00PM - Table Top Farms: Farming - A Family Affair
1:45PM - Childrens Event: Starting Fire, without a lighter!
3:00PM - Dr. Vance Lassey: Saving Health Care with Common Sense and the Free Market!
6:00PM - PRIZE GIVEAWAY #1 (Prize Tickets are $5 each, or 5 for $20)
6:30PM - Grumpy's Seeds Exchange! (Bartertown, but with plants and seeds!)
8:00PM - WROL The Card Game around the campfire, Preppers After Dark.

1:00PM - Crunchy Mama Farms: Be The Butcher, Harvest Your Own Livestock on the Homestead!
2:00PM - Childrens Event: Shelter Building
3:00PM - HEADLINE EVENT: Billy Bond from Perma Pastures Farm and Darren Strong from Hacks for the Homesteader - Chicken Processing Done Right!
5:00PM - Event: Potluck Dinner (See Discussion Thread to coordinate meals)
6:00PM - Giveaway #2 (Prize Tickets are $5 each, or 5 for $20)
6:45PM - Event: BARTERTOWN (Who runs Barter Town?)
Sunday September 8th - Campgrounds clean up, Brief Prayer Service and Travel Mercies, then off to IHOP for a group Breakfast!
